About

Senior practitioners. End-to-end engagements. No B-team.

Kontractom Consultancy W.L.L. was established in Doha in 2019 and is registered under Commercial Registration 134575. The firm is led by two principals with nearly three decades of senior practice each — across strategy, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, feasibility and growth advisory — supported by a general manager who runs client engagement and operations.

We were built deliberately small. The people in the meeting are the people doing the work. There is no associate layer to manage, no overhead to amortise across staffing pyramids, and no engagement we accept that one of the principals will not personally lead. The deck talks about it plainly: no staffed-out delivery, no B-team.

Engagements typically support Qatar National Vision 2030 themes and, where applicable, the QDB and QRDI funding programmes that back them. We carry standing relationships across QDB, QNB, QFC, Microsoft, and the Qatari SME and startup ecosystem — relationships that take a decade to build and that we bring ready-made to every engagement.

What we do

Two service pillars, one team.

We take SMEs from concept to operating reality — and we take operating businesses through digital transformation when they are ready for the next leap. The capabilities below are assembled per engagement, from real programme delivery, not a service catalogue.

Pillar I

SME Foundation & Growth

For founders and SMEs, from concept through to scale.

  • Feasibility studies
  • Business plans
  • Market entry strategy
  • Go-to-market strategy
  • Turn-around plans
  • Implementation of plans
  • Performance improvement
Pillar II

Digital Transformation

For enterprises and SMEs ready for the next leap — strategy through implementation, into applied AI where it earns its place.

  • Digital transformation strategy & planning
  • Enterprise transformation
  • Business process re-engineering
  • Vendor selection & vendor management
  • Implementation programme & project management
  • AI strategy & AI implementation
Across both pillars
Executive Coaching  ·  Management Training  ·  Fractional C-level positions  ·  Business Advisory positions

Strategy & design

Digital & transformation strategy · Enterprise architecture (TOGAF) · Business case & benefits realisation · Operating-model design · Funding pathway design.

Mobilisation & governance

Programme mobilisation · TMO / PMO setup · Vendor selection & contracting · Governance design · Workstream architecture.

Delivery & orchestration

Programme & portfolio leadership · Technology implementation oversight · Vendor & SI orchestration · On-site execution · AI implementation.

Change & sustaining

Change management & OCM (ADKAR / Prosci) · Adoption tracking & KPI verification · Continuous improvement · Executive advisory · Readiness for next funding tier.

Underlying technology depth across SAP, D365, ServiceNow, SharePoint/O365, Azure, AWS, GCP, ITSM, cloud migration & adoption, and enterprise data & analytics — from real implementation, not certification. Where AI is part of the scope, Kontractom delivers through an in-house AI implementation capability — working software in weeks, free first proof of concept, full client IP ownership.

How we work

Four phases. Each with its own deliverable.

Engagements can take any subset of the four phases. We avoid the consulting reflex of converting every question into a six-month study — most engagements run between three and twenty weeks of focused principal time, with sustaining work where the client wants us to stay.

01

Assess

Digital and operations maturity assessment, leadership alignment workshops, baseline KPIs and senior-sponsor commitment. Deliverable: company assessment report.

02

Plan

Case for change, work-package scoping, vendor shortlist and quotes, roadmap and KPI plan. Deliverable: board-ready or funder-ready plan pack.

03

Implement

Vendor orchestration, on-site execution and oversight, change-agent coaching, issue resolution at the working level. Deliverable: live, stabilised systems.

04

Sustain

Quarterly KPI verification, executive coaching, continuous improvement, readiness for the next funding tier. Deliverable: sustained-results report.

Engagement shapes: Full programme (all four phases, sixteen to twenty weeks plus sustaining) · Diagnostic & roadmap only (Phases 1–2, four to six weeks) · Implementation support (plug into a programme already in flight) · Sustaining retainer (post-go-live).

Engagement Six-month advisory, October 2024 – April 2025. Two principals.

Snorble — GCC market-entry strategy

Snorble Inc., a US consumer-technology company building an AI-powered interactive companion for early-childhood development, engaged Kontractom to design and execute its market-entry strategy into the Gulf, with Qatar as the beach-head.

We worked across three phases. The first sized and prioritised target markets and mapped Snorble's proposition to Qatar National Vision 2030 and NDS3 priorities. The second sequenced a phased funding stack — combining a non-dilutive research-grant pathway with an anchor equity investment from the local development bank — together with a month-by-month landing roadmap covering entity setup, partner contracting and first commercial milestones. The third refined the GCC commercial proposition into a dual-access offer — equity participation alongside an exclusive distribution licence — and sharpened the ideal-customer-profile definitions guiding partner outreach.

  • Landing-in-Qatar strategy deck, phased services proposal and refined GCC proposition pack.
  • Identified funding envelope and partnership architecture across institutional and corporate channels.
  • Positioned Snorble for funded entry into Qatar with a defined commercial wedge into the wider GCC.
The relationships, cultural fluency and trust capital that good advisory work requires take a decade to build. We bring them ready-made — and we do the work ourselves.
